Darker than anything i can get in a can where i live , without going whole bean and my grinder broke and has yet to be replaced . I can get the regular cheaper and use coupons but this blend is not to be found . Strong and tasty , yet still mellow with no harsh bite . 4 stars instead of 5 only because it's more than the regular Melitta at the store . I love it and always feel better with a couple cans on the shelf .
