Smooth taste and no oily film when the coffee sits for a while. Better price than the "gourmet" coffees. Just a little hard to find in my area.

Of all the commercially available coffees, this one is just the best. Consistent, smooth, delicious. It doesn't bite back at you and it doesn't "challenge" your palate. It stands alone (black) and holds its own when mixed with milk and sugar. If I HAD to present a criticism, it might be that the ground stuff is ground very fine which doesn't make it compatible with certain types of coffee makers. For me, it works wonderfully with my good old Mr. Coffee. I also use it with the "My K-cup" and my Keurig machine and have no complaints.

This Melitta Classic Premium Blend is good coffee; smoother than the Folger's we regularly buy at Costco - but not enough better to buy it regularly.
