I am a colombian, born in Bogota. I used to go to a Colombian grocer in Silver Spring MD just to get my hands on 10% imported Colombian (cafe sello rojo). I tried this coffee today..and wow! I can't tell the difference. For once someone who claims it is 100% Colombian not only spelled Colombia right (they spell it with a U sometimes and it drives me crazy) but it really IS 100% Colombian. This is nice and strong, with a bit of bitterness that lets you know this was ground from some mean beans.

This brand of ground coffee definitely lives up to its name! I used to think that Eight O'clock was the right time to wake up...but not anymore. When you pop the lid, you're immediately overcome with the rich aroma of dark roast. Seriously, you're tempted to eat it straight from the tin! Moreover, if you've grown weary of grinding beans just to get the magic brew, relax...just pop-a-top my friend and prepare to enjoy! I highly recommend the Melitta drip coffee method for the preparation, since this coffee will only be as good and pure as the water you start out with.

when you want to default to convenience and quality, this can't be beat. flavorful, good medium roast, and super priced for decent coffee. gratuitous suggestions: for great, whole bean columbia supremo, costco rules, either their own brand or jose's, whatever they're stocking that week. and for wonderful, personal attention to estate and exotics, st. ives in georgia, ed thelenius master roaster, or "our coffee barn" in wisconsin (good web sites, too). enjoy.

This is excellent coffee.... Rich and smooth. Not bitter at all. The fine grind produces really rich flavor... easily rivals Starbucks. Probably better. Don't be intimidated by the "Lite" tag. It is a medium-dark roast, with flavor to match. The caffeine reduction is an added bonus. I've already used 3 of my 4 cans..... just wish I'd ordered more when it was on sale.

Well, I sent this to my grandmother as the stores she frequents in Florida no longer carry 8 o'clock coffee. Great service with Amazon, it was shipped quickly and arrived at her door in great condition and nicley packaged. It is the coffee that she loves to drink and she was incredibly suprised/happy to receive the 4 pack. Why 4 stars instead of 5 well, per pound this is acutally more expensive than I would pay for it in the local grocery store...without having to purchase 4/12 oz bags at a time. I checked out shipping and even adding that in, this was no bargin. One would think by purchasing in "bulk" the price would have been better / more competetive. I decided to purchase from amazon due to convience as I was incredibly busy at the time, not sure I would do it again with this product.

The coffee taste is truly amazing for those that can't drink regular coffee. It has an aroma to it that tempts you to drink more. The price definately can't be beat after purchasing some at the grocery store if you can even find it in the store. I tried to purchase some at a Winn Dixie. They only sell coffee beans in this brand but they didnt have a grinder to grind it up. That was the best thing that could have happened since i went online to Amazon.com and found it cheaper than i would have been able to find it. And it was ground up coffee. I will definately be visiting this website again and purchasing this awesome tasting coffee.

I take my coffee very seriously. So seriously to the point where I'm not one to even endorse the big name coffee giants that charge $8.00 for what tastes like a cup of warm milk and flavored syrup!!! That being said I was skeptical to buy this because I hadn't heard of it before and I like to smell and observe the texture of coffee before buying. But I gave it a shot because I needed something I could make everyday at the office. I am more than pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality of this coffee!!! It has a wonderful aroma and it is true to what it claims: It does make up to 10 cups of coffee per pack! It does not taste syrupy or leave a sugary aftertaste like some cheap flavored coffees. It's medium roast & very smooth...something a 1st time coffee drinker could enjoy as well as a pro. I absolutely love it and will definitely try it again. And I must say for the price, you really cant go wrong here. I'm on my way to ordering the hazelnut creme and the coconut. Once again, great price, great quality, excellent flavor!
