This is a very good medium-dark roast coffee. I am from New Orleans and I think Community Coffee is world class quality at a decent price. I have tried pretty much most of the high dollar coffees out there (Gevalia, Starbucks etc.) and Community ranks with the best. My personnal favorite is the Evangeline Blend they produce -- but it is more expensive and money is tight right now so Cafe Special is just fine -- better than anything else for anywhere near the price.

We have tried them all - all of Starbucks and all the others on the market - and while some of them are very good (think Casi Cielo at Starbucks), for all-round availability and good price, the Community Cafe Special is just delicious. It is not advised for those who must have very strong, very robust coffee - it is just a delightful, delicious cup - I don't even have to use any sweetener. I make it in my BUNN drip coffeemaker and I buy it anywhere, including at Amazon. If you've been to a really deluxe hotel with a fine restaurant, this is the coffee you'd get; it doesn't knock you out in strength, but it is a very, very good cup of coffee, whether for your wake-up call or with dessert. This review references the regular, not decaf (if there is a decaf I haven't found it).

I've been a fan of Eight O'Clock coffee since the days of my youth when my schedule demanded frequent injections of caffeine to remain coherent. This is some of the best flavored whole bean coffee I've found on Amazon and given the price (it was on sale) it was amazing. My wife and I just finished a pound of (@$30 per)Kona whole bean and I frankly liked this better.

If you've never tried this French Vanilla coffee, then you're in for a real treat. I took this into work the other day and literally, it looked like one of those weird commercials when people are floating towards the coffee room! Everyone went crazy over this stuff - it smells so much like caramel when it's brewing and when it is done, the flavor is just so very rich that I just drink it black. I really cannot recommend this one enough, and everyone that I know that has tried it, now keeps it on hand all the time. This is my morning breakfast coffee now - lot less calories than a doughnut with the same effect (well, sorta!). This is a little pricey here though. I pay four dollars for it at my local hardware store (yes, I did say hardware store!). This is the number one brand of coffee in the country, per consumer reports. Highly, highly recommend!

I have purchased many different flavors of the Coffee Masters ground coffee. They are the best I have ever found. Also discovered that they make a really awesome iced coffee on a hot day. I just make a pot, let it cool and put it in the fridge. Just throw some ice in a glass and add sugar and cream to taste. Everyone has a favorite flavor and that is just a matter of personal preference.
